New Zealand clock facts

  • In November New Zealand is on NZDT, UTC+13, two hours ahead of Sydney and Melbourne (AEDT, UTC+11).
  • Local midnight in Auckland falls earlier on the world clock than local midnight in Australia, India, the UK, Germany or the Americas. That is a time zone fact about the pre-load rule, not a statement about when the game unlocks.
  • The Chatham Islands run 45 minutes ahead of the main islands and are not covered by the Auckland row.
  • Because New Zealand is a day ahead of the Americas, November 12 begins there while it is still the evening of November 11 in New York.
