GTA 6 editions

Two console editions are sold for launch: Standard (US $79.99 US reference) and Ultimate (US $99.99 US reference). Both target PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Standard owners can buy an Ultimate Edition Upgrade on PlayStation and Microsoft stores after redeeming. There is no boxed Ultimate SKU. Confirm itemized contents on the live store before you pay.

How to choose without overpaying

Start with platform: only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are announced for launch. If your plan is PC, do not buy a console SKU hoping for free migration—that path is not announced.

Use Standard if you want the base game at the lower US reference list price. You can add the official Ultimate Edition Upgrade later on PlayStation or Microsoft stores after redeeming Standard.

Use Ultimate at checkout only if you want the full official extras list immediately. Do not rely on a social-media bullet list alone—open Rockstar Support and the live store.
